About Steve Albiston
Photography is a passion of mine. After spending a few years as a graphic designer (thus the word “Creative” in my business name), I started implementing photography as a service in 2005. I’ve been working with a variety of customers in Ventura County and beyond ever since. Whether photographing a person or a product, the goal is the same – to capture it using the best light possible.
I’ve lived in Ventura County for over 40 years. I’m a proud father of two amazing kids (one is now an adult). I was a volunteer coach for over 12 years for whatever sport they were playing. Today, even though I’m letting more qualified coaches take over, I’m still spending most of my non-working time with them.
I was educated in a highly competitive atmosphere at Brooks Institute of Photography where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with additional special achievement awards throughout my time there. After twenty years removed, my love for my craft is still thriving. I want to share my skills with you.
Throughout the years I’ve been fortunate to have my work published in a variety of ways. In 2024, I shot the cover of Muscle & Fitness HERS, as well as 14-pages inside. In the same year Runway Magazine published 8 full pages of my work with Elisabetta Rogiani. For over 20 years my work has been used in advertising in magazines such as Architectural Digest, Veranda, Town & Country, 805 Living, Cottages & Gardens, Coastal Living, Palm Springs Life, Flex, and many more.
I’ve also worked within the film industry on projects like Quigley (poster & DVD packaging), Huh? (editor & art department), and Broken (poster & DVD packaging).
My work has even been shown on hundreds of billboards throughout Ventura County where I’ve contributed as a photographer and/or graphic designer.
