PERSONAL BRANDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Personal Branding Photography
Personal branding sessions are probably best described as being similar to a featured editorial shoot for a magazine or online publication, and can be used to promote you or your business. It captures your personality and shows the viewer a little more of who you are. You don’t have to be a celebrity to be photographed like one. Whether you’re a real estate agent, chef, athlete, stock broker, entrepreneur, or a stay-at-home-mom running your house – you can have the same experience.
For example, an executive may want to capture empowering images of themselves in their office, while a chef may want to be photographed in a kitchen. Athletes can choose a field or outdoor location. Whatever it is that you do – can be captured in a portrait session that conveys your “Personal Brand”.
Below are samples of personal branding shoots.
BELOW ARE EXAMPLES OF PERSONAL BRANDING SESSIONS
David Tutera: These images are from a single-day photoshoot with David Tutera in Calabasas California. You’ve probably seen him on television as a wedding planner and designer. Just a few weeks earlier we used his property for a mutual client’s advertising campaign. He saw how I worked, and hired me on the spot to shoot his branding images for the coming year. We were able to capture several images for him to use throughout the year for promoting his brand.
Katie Austin is a fitness personality that can be seen all over the web and on morning television shows. We worked together on this shoot at her home in Southern California showing various “at-home” exercises using products by Dyne-Pro Direct. These images were used on social media and on other marketing materials.
Caitlin Wheeler is an accomplished choreographer, Creative Director and Fitness Coach in Los Angeles, CA. I’ve had the honor of working with her multiple times over the past several years. These images are from our most recent branding session in 2021. I love how organized Caitlin is when she arrives for our shoots. She knows the look she wants to achieve, yet still allows me to be creative with the lighting choices.
Darla Joy is the owner of JoyFit Academy. She helps women lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially after raising kids. She understands the importance of visually branding her business with photography and uses the images throughout the year as she posts messages of encouragement.
